Often crowned the "Champagne of Teas", Darjeeling tea derives its singular floral muscatel character from the extreme elevation, steep slopes, and crisp mountain mists of the Himalayan foothills in West Bengal.
The Legendary First Flush Harvest
The First Flush occurs in early spring when the tea bushes wake from their winter dormancy. The tender light-green shoots produce a light, pale amber infusion with an astonishingly complex aromatic bouquet ranging from green apple to peach skin and subtle muscatel wine notes.
